01. General description
Brokeree Dealing Desk is an application that acts as a human dealer, i.e. confirms or rejects client trade requests and manages prices, as well as processes SL & TP triggers, pending order placements and activations and stop out closures.
The solution comes with the Rule Editor tool which makes it possible to configure Dealing Desk’s operation from a local server (API version) or remotely (Plugin version).
The application is available in four versions suitable both for MetaTrader server owners and White-Label brokers: MT4 Manager API or Plugin, MT5 Manager API or Plugin. All versions share the same configuration workflow, so a possible future migration from one version to another can be conducted smoothly.
The Plugin versions can be configured by the managers. Dealing Desk supports multi-server functionality (MT5 version) - it can be installed as an instance on both Main and subordinate Trade servers.
Compared to the default MetaTrader 5 trade routing, Dealing Desk has the following key advantages:
- MT5 Routing conditions work only through AND logic. Dealing Desk allows brokers to implement both AND and OR logics when setting up filtering through Filter groups.
- Dealing Desk is configurable both by users with Manager of Admin permissions.
- Advanced Pricing and Slippage management of Dealing Desk allows brokers to partially compensate or increase possible slippages in real time.
Dealing Desk resolves the following tasks commonly requested by brokers:
- Automating dealing for MT4 and enhancing routing rules for MT5;
- Complete control over slippage. Depending on settings, can be negated in trader’s favor (for example, for VIP traders or as a special offer) or increased in broker’s favor.
- Restricting trading on highly volatile symbols by rejecting requests or limiting volumes traded.
- Negating risks of drastic profit/loss in case of market gaps.
- Neglecting efficiency of scalping strategies by delaying the trading request’s execution.
