07. Filters: General filters

Users can specify certain parameters of a request, and if it meets the conditions, predefined actions are taken for the request. In Dealing Desk, conditions are set via Filters. There are several types of filtering settings for rules:
  • Time
With this filter specified, the rule’s active time will be limited by a start date and time and/or end date and time.
  • Request types
Users can choose from the types of requests for which the rule will be applied.
Non-trading request types do not result in an actual trading operation by MT design, so they can not be delayed and given slippage.
