02. Prerequisites and Installation

Prerequisites

Prior to installation, make sure the following in present in your system setup:

NOTE: The solution checks the license's activity status at lic.brokeree.com. Please make sure the URL is available from the machine where it is installed (check your OS and/or firewall settings).

System limitations

Credit Tracker is able to work with numbers within the Decimal numeric type limits (±79,228,162,514,264,337,593,543,950,335). Processing numbers exceeding the limitation is skipped.

Installation

Unpack the Brokeree.CreditTracker archive on your server;
Copy the CreditTracker.Configuration.exe to the /MT4 and /MT5 folders;
Put the .licensekey file provided by Brokeree into the same folder as CreditTracker.exe.
Launch the CreditTracker.exe by double-clicking on it, wait for about 30 seconds and close it. Do the same with CreditTracker.Configuration.exe. This will create a set of necessary files in the folder;
Install the CreditTracker.exe as a Windows service (see below).

To install the application as a service:

Launch the command line with Administrator privileges;
Change your operation directory to one where you downloaded the solution;
Run the following commands:

CreditTracker.exe -install
CreditTracker.exe -start

The above commands will install the app as a Windows service CreditTracker and start it.

NOTE: The application restart is required, if the machine’s time has changed (upon daylight savings time change as well).

MetaTrader 4 Manager configuration

The following Manager’s rights are required for correct work of Credit Tracker:

Accountant (deposit/credit/withdrawal money)
Supervise trades
Manager (add/edit/delete accounts)

MetaTrader 5 Manager configuration

The following Manager’s permissions are required for correct work of Credit Tracker:

Connection type
- Connect using MetaTrader 5 Manager
Accounts
- Accountant (balance operations)
- Access accounts
Dealing
- Access orders and positions
